1. Any interesting or unusual phobias you'd like to share with the class?
Well, I'm really not a fan of bridges over water, for some reason. And also clusters of holes can easily freak me out - this seems to be a family thing as both my mom and sister have the same aversion.
2. What's your ideal fic, the one you wish you could bring into existence just by the power of your mind?
Just, my favourite characters being happy. They can have problems to solve, they can have issues to work out, but at the end of the fic, I want them to be happy.
More specifically, I love modern AUs for period/fantasy fandoms. So maybe a giant ASOIAF AU with all my favourite characters and ships.
3. If you could commit one crime, consequence free, what would it be?
Probably like bank fraud, or something. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone, so like an illegal money transfer of millions of dollars that the bank will get back on insurance? idk
4. If you could pick one character to survive to the end of ASOIAF unscathed who would you protect?
Oh man, to choose between Dany and Sansa is mean.
Because I adore Dany and her completely adorable reactionary "murder them all!" approach to conquest and really want her to take the Westeros throne on the backs of her dragons and then force everyone to bend a knee once more to the Targaryens, before being actually a pretty good queen after initial missteps.
But I also want Sansa to survive because I just want to hug her and take her away from that awful place. And also, I feel like by the end of the series, she'll be better at the game of thrones than anyone else left alive. I just really want her to be the Lady of Winterfell.
My ideal situation would be that Dany become Queen of Westeros with Sansa as the Warden of the North.
5. Tell me an unpopular fandom opinion of yours?
Hmmm....I don't really care all that much about Jaime Lannister. I understand the interest intellectually, but I can't bring myself to care.
Also, I'm not a fan of Lorna on 'Bomb Girls'.

Date: 2013-01-28 12:18 pm (UTC)Hmm, I feel like Dany wants to be a good queen - that's what the whole Meereen experiment was about, after all - she just flounders when she can't default to Kill Them All! And I think Sansa could be a pretty good ally for her, because as you say, better at the game of thrones than anyone, and never having had the Murder Them All! option she'll have other ways of staying in control.
I read a multi-ship high-school AU for Game of Thrones once, and despite not usually being a fan of High school AUs it delighted me, they were all so young and innocent, and nothing awful was going to befall anyone.
